Some eracer issue

Hi,
somehow I changed something and now the eraser is not switching properly.When i draw,and pres the "e" key, I get the eraser tool turned on with the basic brush in eraser mode.When I try to switch to another eraser it is returned to the basic brush in eraser mode.Not only that but if I want to switch between the brush and eraser, it's not possible.When I press the "e" key it goes in to the eraser tool with basic brush in eraser mode.But when I press the "b" shortcut to return to the brush tool,nothing happens.Then I ended up giving the eraser toggle the "e" hotkey.Then I just toggle my current brush in eraser mode.It's a work around but I want the eraser to have different brush and size than my brush tool.It's something I have on my current settings.Since on my laptop it works just fine.
Can you suggest what I can do to fix this issue.

What you can try:
1)Menu-other-reset to default-reset hotkeys
2)after "e" open the second brushes category (erasers) and switch to something another eraser, be sure that you don't create simple brushes in this category, it should be only erasers
3)Be sure that you don't bind "e" or "b" key to the special brush

sadly this did not work.
It did not even removed the hotkey I had on another brush,mapped on the "K"
