Can't save my work

Whenever I try to save, it says "Critical ERROR" and that I should check the log and try to save my work.
When I want to save my work then, it says "Failed to save this file" and Paintstorm shuts down. The log wasn't helpful for fixing the problem, either.
I noticed it often happens when I use the wand or fill tool. What could be the reason for this?

Please give us more info:
1)What is your OS and PC configuration?
2)it show error at the moment of click at "save" in menu-file, or already at the moment of you click save at the files explorer?
