Brushes won't import

I recently purchased the program and decided to download the additional brushes given on the resources page.
I saw from the diagram that the files should be .pstbrushes friles but downloaded as .zip files.
I followed the intsructions to import and checked my download folder but the brushes never appeared as options, nor did they appear in any part of the Paintstorm Studio program files upon searching. The .zip files are there but the program is not picking them up? Do I need to transfer them to another folder or find a way to convert the files?

Just dragging (same way as smartphone scrolling by finger) brushes categories to find additional categories
