Shift Key as constraint

Hello,

When drawing a selection with the rectangle selection tool, if I want to add to that selection, I would hold shift and drag another selection, this could constrain my selection to a square. Can this be fixed so that the add to selection only requires the shift to be held when beginning the rectangle selection ?

Also, could horizontal and vertical constraints be added to the move tool by holding shift?

OK... Now use "+" button at the tool options (top line)
