I was wondering if anyone could share the steps on how to paint behind the sketch. In order to add colour without it effecting the black sketch lines. This video im going to link, explains what im trying to achieve. This guy is using Photoshop which im aware of but im sure there is a way to do it in paintstorm, i just cant work it out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZOJqbSBPxI&t=1158s go about 7 minutes into the video.
Thank you very much to anyone who can point me in the right direction.

You want to create a new layer, and set it's blending mode to multiply. That should do it for you.

Just add a new layer under the layer with the sketch. And now you can paint on the new layer.

In the past, I used a similar method to color my paintings (but using alpha masks instead of the alpha channel). I prepared everything in Photoshop, saved the PSD, and then went ahead with Paintstorm. I recommend you do the same.
