After update - no basic brush functionality

Hi people. I just updated to the latest version and the basic brush tool does not seem to function any longer. By this I mean, it creates no marks or drawing on a layer.

Anyone experience this?

Maybe it's switched to eraser? You can reset it to default, or reset the whole category.
