Hello.
I tried Paintstorm Studio up to version 1.40 from older and Custom for my favorite layout.
But tab layout is crashing and can't be operated.

It can't be used in the state now.
I have to wait for the fixed version.

Hello.
Did you try to delete paintstorm manually and install it clean version?
Default paintstorm folders is:
1)C:\Program Files\Paintstorm Studio
2)C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\Paintstorm Studio
To arhive your settings you can copy 2nd folder before the delete
