Fixed Color

Post by vezinho » Mon Apr 25, 2016 9:29 am

Hello,

Is it possible and how to choose a fixed color for a brush ?
For example i would like to make a graphite pencil with a carefully choosen deep blue gray to mimic the real one ?
Is it possible ?
Thanks by advance !!

Is'nt it that simple that you make a brush with your demanding features and then go to the Tab "Color" in brushwindow.
Choose gradient stroke, but make the gradient fill from dark blue/grey to the same dark blue/gray color...?

Test this and let us know if this it the feature you seeking...

It worked perfectly !! Thanks a lot for your answer! The solution is here with the gradients
I think I will have to look further to customize it..
Thanks again !! :D

For me I often discover this kind of function by mistake...

I had one of the factorybrushes and wanted to change color to that, without any easy success...
When I investigated this I saw that the brush had the gradient stroke enabled... Ahhh'

That's how it often works with more complicated apps like Paintstorm Studio...

For now we are eagerly awaiting the v.1.55 update to ours iPads!

Advise: Also you can set to gradient main color and the second point - main color but darker and seturated for example, and set pen pressure for gradient. In this case you will get dark saturated color at the pressure.

The possibillity with Paintstorm Studio is endless!

The upgrade to iPad Pro 12.9" with Apple Pencil has taken the iPad to new levels in the painting experience...
