Large Images crash on open - ipad

Does anyone have any issues with Paintstorm (ipad pro) crashing when opening larger-resolution png's or jpegs? I also have issues in opening layered PSD files saved via Procreate that exhibits the same behavior (app closes itself with no error messages).

Thanks for the reply! I'm thinking it's related to the actual file size rather than the resolution; it seems anything that gets roughly above 10-12mb in file size tends to make Paintstorm crash when opening, or anything with a fair amount of layers. (PSD file) Usually my canvas sizes are 3000x3000 to 5000x5000, and drawings open just fine (not very many layers), but if I have more than 5-6-7 layers it tends to crash. (Though I tried to open a photo I took with my iphone and it crashed too.)

I had files that goes until 60Mo (psd file generated in PSS and reopened in another session) I didn't go up 5 or 7 layers, so i don't know...
If you have problem opening a simple picture, then you should maybe reinstall the soft ?
MAKE SURE you make an entire backup of all your settings (UI, custom brushes and EVERYTHING)

From more use, it looks like anything with higher than 5 layers, and a larger canvas size makes the app crash either when saving or during use. It seems like the more resolution and number of layers makes the app unstable on my ipad pro 12.9.
