Strange Eraser behavior suddenly (iPad)

Last night I updated my iPad Pro iOS to 10.2. This morning my eraser started acting strangely. I used to set my eraser to soft round brush and keep it there for almost all my work. However today when I grab the eraser, it automatically changes the eraser brush type to match my current paintbrush. Did I toggle something by accident? Now I have to manually change back to soft round brush every time I grab the eraser.

1)Be sure that your brush is not in the second brushes category. 2nd category uses only for erasers.
2)Be sure that you did'not bind your brush to special key, or bind eraser to the default brush key.
