Weird artifacts when using a flat brush

Hey guys!

I'm getting some weird artifacts when trying to mix some paint on the painting itself. The artifacts themselves can be covered up, but painting and after a while having to paint over is time consuming and it can screw up what you have already done.

So does anyone know whether I'm doing something wrong or have you encountered this and have you found a way to deal with it?

First time see it... Is it stay after save and reopen work?

Yes, I just tried it and they still there, I even opened the Photoshop and these were still in there. I have some additional information on this:

- Found out that it's occurring when I use Flat Bristle Brushes. Have seen them appear when using the "Flat brush direction" and the "Flat transparency" brush. Some other brushes under the Flat Bristle Brushes do not have this issue, but these two do have it.

If you need more information like, what OS I'm using, what my painting process is, what are my PC specs, etc. I would be happy to provide you with any information.

Yes, it does stay after I save and re-open the document. I've also tried opening it in Photoshop and the artifacts stay on there too.

What I've found out so far:

- Happens with a few brushes in the Flat Bristle Brushes - "Flat transparency" brush and the "Flat brush direction".
- Happens usually when there are really quick strokes with the brush.
- I'm beginning to think that these artifacts are actually the brush shape's outline getting stuck on the paint (I know it sounds weird).

I infrequently see a similar glitch (3 times tonight).
However- I don't modify Transparency. I always leave it set full. Maybe this is different.
It always appears as a solid black stroke, very crisp edges.
Sometimes if I stroke over it, it then it turns white.
Eventually it starts to accept blending.

Thank you so much for the tip! This has really been bugging me sense I updated to 1.72.

For those who might not understand, the sliders have a min and max setting, clamps. Slide the left side (min) to the right a touch so it's min is greater than 0.

I advise to use opacity pen pressure, transparency gives a little different result. But it's only my opinion.
