Trying to figure out how to create perfect squares and wondering if there is an option that I’m missing for easy/fast drag and drop rectangles that I can use. Have found this feature in other programs but can’t seem to find it here.
If not, can someone direct me in the direction to learn how to create squares?

Use Selection tool with SHIFT to get square selection.
Use alt+backspace to fast fill selection
Use Ctrl+D to fast deselect all
Use the "move tool" and hold ALT to fast copy layer
Another way is to capture square as a brush form and use this brush to fast draw squares
