Painting interrupted by error + crashes upon saving UI

Post by Cyan Los » Mon Dec 31, 2018 3:34 pm

I just recently purchased Paintstorm Studio because I was looking for a professional painting application for Linux. I use the latest Ubuntu LTS release.

However, I have a few issues:

1) While drawing painting, after every once in a while, my painting is interrupted by errors like these (in the attachments), and I have no idea why or how I can fix it.

2) Attempting to save my custom UI results in the whole program crashing. The UI also seems to reset to default when I close the app and re-open it again.

3) Paintstorm also seems to spike my CPU temperature up by a whole 20+ degrees Celsius, despite reasonable drawing -- no color or anything. Disabling multi-core just sets it back by a couple of degrees, but not much. It's still above 60 for some reason.

Is there any way to resolve these issues? How can I help?
