Color picker suggestion

Post by sjyoooon » Thu Mar 14, 2019 4:38 pm

There is a current color indicator on top left corner of the color picker.
While I'm picking color, it shows previous color and current picking color at the same time.
I think this is very helpful for finding proper color.
But If I picked color and release left button, immediately disappears previous color.
How about show both of previous and picked color until the first stroke occurs?

I think they're following the sense of the gradient feature as instead of area sample, an accumulated amount of samples click by click?
Not sure, but if so I think the ability to pick-build up the colour gradient of the brush like that could be useful.

If OP meant history, you can show recent colours. Would be useful if it docked at the top nearer the sampler area, though, or least if that was an option. Minor features but probably ergonomic?

well if we are talking about adding features for the color picker should be the "average color" I dunno how it's callled. Pratically it takes the average color from the neighbour pixels, it is especially usefull for dither images and photos.

I think it's great idea.
That way shows difference between 2 colors: previous and current under your mouse. This way very helpful, when you try to find right point around existing color, to make it a bit bright or softness
