Issue whilst changing brush size dynamically

Hi,
Loving Paintstorm but I have an annoying issue with it that does not occur in other art programs.
If I change brush size whilst drawing I get a smear from the left of the canvas - needless to say, this interupts my work flow as I then have to undo before continuing. This occurs with all brushes I have tried.

I have noticed that this does not happen with the mouse only the pen so maybe possibly related to pressure?

I have just realized that this only happens when I use the wheel on my Huion Q620M dial and not when using the keyboard to change brush size. I don't know if there's some setting I can change to prevent this from happening?

As I say - I have no problems with other art programs - would love to get more into painstorm but this is a deal breaker for me at the moment.

How did you bind this wheel to size change? Paintstorm blocks attempt to change brush size at the moment of painting, but maybe this wheel bypasses this protection
